How to make Overnight Oats
Since the launch of our new Overnight Oats product on October 1, sales have been amazing. We've sold many more then we ever expected and we thank you for all of the orders.
There is a little confusion as to what exactly overnight oats are and how Dale's Raw Oats was created. I'm going to try and clear of few things up for you, so you get a better understanding of our new overnight oats product.
"Overnight oats are just oats soaked overnight that absorb the liquid you put them in – any kind of liquid you like! We recommend plant based nut milks such as cashew milk, almond milk, or coconut milk."
First of all, Dale's Raw Oats is not a hot cereal and we've never promoted it as such. We have said on the product pages, info that comes with your order, and the lid of the oats jar that they should not be heated or put in the microwave. Remember that we are selling and promoting raw food, not cooked food. In fact, none of our products including the oats, protein powers, or protein bars should ever be heated.
"One main principle of raw food is to never heat it above 105 degrees so that is stays as close to it's natural state as possible, retaining all of the nutritional values as created."
Secondly, by heating up the product, the authenticity of the oats and proteins is altered. We therefore would not be able to guarantee the flavor, texture, or nutritional values. In addition, any heat will destroy the nutritional values of the rice and pea proteins, which are fractionated using very low heat during production. Dale's Raw Oats was created to be overnight oats in order to keep it raw, in it's natural state. After all, we are Dale's RAW Foods.
Please review the video below for complete instruction on how to prepare Dale's Raw Oats as overnight oats. Most of the work has already been done for you. All you have to do is add the nut milk, shake, and set in the refrigerator until the next morning.
